Question iPod in 06 Avalon

Is there a way to connect an iPod to an 06 Avalon stock deck w/6 CD Changer?
I know there's the FM transmitters and Tape adapters, but I was wondering about something with better SQ? Thanks.

I would think that the available Auxilary adapters would work.

Something like this

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-I2mp1wY...earch=usa+spec

A little bit pricey though, there's also the Ipod2car.

That's actually cheaper than the one at mp3yourcar.com $189
On the USA Spec one, or any of these connectors, I would lose the CD Changer completely right? It says that it would have a AUX In jack, what would I be able to connect there, another iPod

Ipod trouble 2006 avalon

06 IPOD install trouble
I bought the USA Spec PA11-TOY iPod-to-Toyota interface. After removing my dashboard and radio (simple and easy) I removed my stereo Head unit (no navigation). There are 3 sets of white harness clips that plug into the stereo. However there are no empty slots, and none of these three clips are labeled as to what they connect.

Could someone please explain to me how an 06 avalon JBL system is to interface with a USA Spec, or similar type ipod adapter? Where do i plug in my new adapter, it seems i would have to remove 1 of the 3 clips there are currently in use? what will i lose if i do so, i still want my 6 disc changer in dash to work. please help? with no empty ports how do you plug in anything?

Toyota Avalon 2006 JBL - No Navigation

Thanks all,
James

You will lose your 6 disc if you use the usa spec, or any other that works on that port. The way the aux in works is by tricking your system into thinking the 6 disc is connected and plays the audio accordingly.
