XM questions

So, I just had xm installed in my 05 tacoma. I had it installed with a hardwired fm modulator, and the audiovox express unit. It sounds great, EXCEPT through the right front speaker. I checked and the CD player sounds fine through that speaker. I pulled the dash and made sure all connections were tight, changed the stations on the fm modulator, etc. Any other thoughts?

Are there two components, xm tuner and fm modulator? If so, how are they connected?

How do normal FM stations sound through that speaker? If they're good then it's definitely something in the XM setup. Does Best Buy guarantee their installs?
