Newest toy: Alpine DVA-9860

Alpine employee accomodations are great. I love the ergonomics of this HU -- reminds me of my 1st ever headunit -- an entry-level Alpine CDA-9807 (the one that was stolen ). I don't care about dolphins swimming around or racecars, so this came naturally (I don't stare at my stereo when driving). Simplicity and ease is all I need.

DVA-9860:

And lastly, the #1 reason why I bought this damn thing:

(third bullet-point down...read it and weep)

What's next?? Another $400...

Found this on eBay. It's uber cheap, might want to grab it while you can.

Dude, relax.

Never saw your original reply. I work at a Best Buy (but surprisingly not in the car audio department).

And yes, it does MP3 DVDs as well as the very few DVD audio discs out there today.
