i was wondering if anyone knew of a good setup for the camry so that i can have good bass but still have use of almost my whole trunk? for the trunk im gonna have to be able to get to the spare tire. like is there anyway to get a sub box to mount under my seats or something? lets say keep it all under $1500 and mostly DIY

Are you any good at Fabrication/wood cutting? You can do an infinite baffle type install where you do like two 8's or two tens in the rear deck where the speakers were.

It's a little bit of fabrication work involved though, but the results are very nice.

If not, just get two 10" subs that work well in a small sealed enclosure, that have reasonably shallow mounting depth. Maybe two Arc Audio 10-12D4/D2's. (those work good IB too)

Would it be possible to mount the sub right behind the rear seats, facing forward, with a removable mesh grill right behind it and use your entire trunk as an enclosure? I know it's a big space, but I suppose if you set it up right you would get a nice, low tone, save a lot of space, and the mesh would prevent anything in your trunk from rocketing forward and smashing your sub. Yay, nay?

How easy/ PITA is it to get to your spare. IF It's built how I think it is, it should be easy right?
