anyone with an AVIC unit

hey anyone here have an avic unit??

question i have is:
when u got it installed, how did u hook up the pink speed sensor wire.. and what did that wire look like.. unfortunatley the unit i got from my friend didnt have the wire anymore.. and i really just need to know if its a regular old wire that i can buy and replace or if its a special one..

also im missing the magnetic plate (black with yellow square in the middle) is this absolutley needed for the install.. i know it helps with GPS signal, but i dont plan on mounting the antenna outside my car.. praly just on the corner of my dash.
