I have the standard 2003 camry audio system, and was wondering what differences there are in the optional JBL system?? ...im not planning on changing to it, but I may have a donor car available with these items for free....((possibly)).....SO just checking it out now in case......otherwise I will go low cost DIY.....

I don't know about the standard but the rear JBL speakers on our 02 are really nice. Also, I believe the US version has "8 speakers in 6 locations".

I'd go aftermarket. JBL is usually just somethign to get int the way of the installation(JBL amp)

If you have a non-JBL car and plan on adding the JBL system, you'll be surprised with how much work is involved. Not fun, nor worth it.
