Red face Installed my new LCD Screens

So I ended up buying 2 Casio 7" Screens off my freind for $200. He says he bought them 4-5 years ago.

I had to modify them a bit because they were supposed to hook into a casio VHS tape player unit .They look good and you can watch movies now. Although when i play xbox the contrast is a bit to high so the image bleeds a bit. And the colors are way to bright. Like a light green will turn into a bright green.

There is only brightness controls on the side of the unit.

Do they make video processors for cars? And if so who?

Also I have changed my mind on a HU and decided i want something that plays DVD's too. But no screen.

what do you guys think

I sorta like the rear screen mounting position, not up high to be seen and stolen . But the front one seems funny to me

Terrible mounting position! That's an accident waiting to happen.

  1. I dont watch anything when im driving
  2. It is mounded with screws, not tape.
  3. they are not coming off, so i dont see how its an accident waiting to happen.

you need to invest in a flux capacator....

j/k, but i think it looks good. And for 200 bucks i think you're set. Can't really beat that. The shifter looks a little in the way up front, but i can see that problem going away in drive. The back one is tight.

As for a dvd player w/o screen, if you want to save money, just go with Pyle. But i'm not a audio/visual guy so don't quote me.

But yeah, I thought you said you didn't watch it while you drive...

Dude, all I'm sayin' is be careful. I'd hate for you wreck your car, or even worse hit somebody innocent because you decided to make a poor decision.
