Alpine Alarms.

Does anyone out there have any thoughts or advice regarding Alpine alarms?? (Xenon, u there man? ) I'm looking into buying an alarm system, and Alpine and Clifford are a couple of the brands I'm looking at.. I don't wanna go too cheap, like walmart or canadian tire alarms and sh!t.. hehe so any advice would be appreciated.

I've been using the latest top of the line from Alpine (Type-R) for a few months now. It works extremely well and I've never had a problem with it.

Should retail for about $250 CAN

I'd skip the whole alarm and go with a tracking device like the boomerang instead. They've really come down in price recently and the recovery rate is pretty high. The service subscription isn't so bad, if you have a cellphone then you're probably spending more on airtime already.

Like I said Ren, it all depends on your budget, I can give you an alarm from $100 to $2,000 and of course they have different features, capabilities, and options...

Give me a shout whenever you're ready...

Guys, you should know that there's two different types of navigation systems. One of them is ready and the other has to work with a CD that you put in..
