Your thoughts on eD? (no flame wars)

Im just looking around for another amp for my IDMAX, ive heard the nine.1 is a decent amp for the money.... but then there are all the claims that eD products are sub par lately and that Ben is screwing people and a lot of stuff is backordered....

any experiences w/ them?

The subs are nice(ID) The speakers are ok(cdt(vifa)) The amps are ok, but I could think of a better amp for the money.

You should use a Class AB amp anyways. What is your subs ohm configuration? Maybe the MB Quart RAA2400 for under 250 is a better choice. 800 watts rms x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged. Class AB

What's wrong with your JL Class D mono amp?

I doubt you will hear any difference from the JL Class D to a eD class D.

You MIGHT hear a difference though when you switch to a class AB amp. And the MB Quart basically is a mono amp when bridged.

An IDMAX doesn't need 1200 watts, and can not handle that much anyways.

ID doesn't really rec. running 1,00 watts rms either, but it can take it.

The MB Quart amp can be had for about 218 shipped with full warranty through Crutchfield.
