Is this amp ok? Do you guys think its too much power to push a single 10'' or 12'' sub. The amount im spending on a sub is $100 max. So i'm thinking the sub would have around 200-300 watt rms. So do u think it is too much or too little or just right? Thank you. http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...id/0/SFV/30046
p.s. is this internet company good to deal with? anyone have any experience? thanks
I honesty want to spend a maximum of $100 on an amp. Also, on the sub I want to spend a maximum of $100. I dont need something like 400 watts rms. 200 to 250 is good enough because I just want to add a little more bass to my car. Also, have you ever dealt with that company or do you know if its pretty good to deal with them? Thanks.
it will be tougher to find a good amp for under 100 dollars than a sub. look into profile. they have very good amps for people on a tight budget. also check out the cadence z series amps. it is also much easier to shop for an amp if you already have the sub. i would strongly suggest looking for the two together. look into image dynamics or tc sounds for the sub. you could call tc and ask for an overstock sub and get it for an excellent price.

if you only want to spend about 100 on an amp, start looking for a used amp....I'd say your best bet would be an rf 2chnl amp....say, the 300.2 or something....300watss of clean power for a cheap price when used

I don't know what sub to use yet. I was considering 15" ID that pushes 300 rms. For right now, I am pleased with my front stage. I will eventually upgrade that but I want to look for a sub first. Yah, I was considering the FS amp. There's just some many options.
