6.5" Components, but which ones???...Impossible to tell without a budget...so..how much money do you want to spend?

You should also consider deadening the front doors at the least and also make sure to use an MDF wood speaker baffle to mount the mids in the doors.

I think you can do better than anything from Infinity for 170.

What amp is it? Not that it matters, but most high quality components can take 200 watts RMS. You really won't be sending the speakers 200 watts rms all the time with music.

Is 170 the most you want to spend? For about 21- shipped you can get either JL XR components or Alpine Type-X components. There's other stuff too, but those are pretty good for the money. Much better than anything from infinity, even the Kappa Perfects.

This dude is selling the JL XR's used for 150.

I'd buy those if I was on a strict budget. If you can afford 200 or so, you can get new XR's or Alpine SPX-177R's for around 200.

That's what I'd check out. You can usually listen to these two at some shops like Circuit City.
