Stock Amp Removal

Just to start this off, I tried searching and didn't find what I was looking for.

Ok, so yesterday I installed my new head unit and bypassed the stock amp, as the instructions said to. Everything works just fine. So I was wondering if it would hurt anything to pull the amp out? If not, how should I go about doing it, I know to unscrew it, and get the wires out of the console, but where do I unplug it from.
Thanks for any and all help,
Matt

p.s. I am also posting this in the camry forum, if thats allowed.

Oh, and the car is a 1993 Camry SE

I pulled mine out. There should be connectors that you can unplug straight from the amp. At least there was on my gen4.

ya i have my amp out on my 94 camry le and there are connectors right at the amp. You just unplug those and pull the amp out, you dont have to pull the wires from where your HU is that you bypases you can leave those in there
