I just got this powerwedge by jl yesterday for $180 at Hi Fi buys can anyone tell me a good amp for this.

12W0's are rated at 125 watts each. are they 4 ohm or 8 ohm subs?

They should be wired parallel internally creating a 4 ohm load and have one set of binding posts if they're 8 ohm drivers. If that's the case, give them 250 - 350 watts from a mono amplifer.

Hester - can you give us a model number? Theres two versions of the subs you posted. There's one that uses two 4 ohm drivers for final impedance of 2 ohms and there's one that uses two 8 ohm drivers for final impedance of 4 ohms.

Also, how much are you willing to spend on an amp?

mine is the one that uses two 8 ohm drivers and im willing to pay about 200 dollars for an amp

and also i have a profile california ap1000m mono amp but it didnt sound good with my old solobaric 10.

should i use this amp or buy a new one?
