alarm install

I am putting in an alarm in my truck. It has a standard tranny so what i was wondering was, would it be better to put the starter cut relay on the ignition coil or the neutral start switch. I only ask because lets face it put it in gear and push and off you go without using the starter.

You're not adding a remote start, so having the starter kill relay with the starter wires is all you need. You could add extra cut-off circuitry to the ignition or fuel. Unless you mean you're adding a remote start, then I'd suggest look for one that will handle a standard/manual transmission.

i guess i'm just looking for something different. i decided to set the alarm for normaly open and hid relays for the coil, starter and the nutreal start switch. i would love to see some one start it without the remote.
