Alpline's HU suck these days

i think the new alpine's HU is starting to look ulgyer and sucker then the older model 2004 and down.

Last year the top of the line was the cda-9855. i got my hands on one and its suck because it wont eject my cd. The technology of the glid touch was amazing at first but as time pass by its less sensitive. Plus its hard to control and the loudest volume u can go to is 23, once you pass 23...the volume stay the same all the way to 35(MAX).

The good new about this year model is that the glide touch has be elimated (Think god). THe bad news is that it produce less out put..16 RMS per channel instead of 18 RMS, preout puts for the top of the line (2006 cda-9857) is change to 2V instead of 4V. Plus the screen is smaller then the previous couple years.

i wish they should include a higher model with the option of having color screen instead of black/white for a couple bucks more (50-$100) or else higher pre output, 8V and RMS in order to complete with the new eclipse deck
