XM tuner compatibility with stock JBL

I have an 04 Solara with the XM ready JBL head unit. Will any XM tuner work with it or do I need to get the overpriced kit from Toyota. Will a pioneer tuner be compatible? Like this one http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn..._34754,00.html

The reason I'm asking is I can get this unit with antenna for next to nothing and I don't want to buy the kit from the dealer. I'm having a real tough time finding an answer to this question.

Will the Terk universal Toyota kit work?

Terk kits are good and work well.
