Stereo instal in a 2002 Camry w/ JBL

What do I need to do a stereo install in a 2002 Camry with JBL system?

I have the stereo with a regular, non-jbl, wiring harness attached to it. So somehow I will need to bypass the JBL amp which is behind the glvoe compartment, correect?

I will be using the stock speakers in the car...I *THINK* that they are 2 ohm but I don't have the car here so I cannot verify. Anyone know if this is correct?

If they are 2 ohm speakers, will the amp in the HU have a problem with this? I think most HUs are designed to work with 4 ohm speakers.

I know I will need a dash kit, but do I need the metal sleeve around the stereo also or does it ISO mount using metal brackets that screw in like on my 2000 Camry?

if you run 2 ohms on a 4 ohm HU, the HU will most likely overheat.

anyways. i forgot how that thing acctually sits in there.. but i think i used the brackets that came with the cars stock setup.. so it would sit in there just the same.. but like i said i dont remember what i did.. although it was the 01.. oo btw.. if yours isnt JBL then it wont be 2ohms they will be 4ohms
