that amp doesnt provide enough power for that sub but if u get that sub i can sell u a ported box for it for cheap....

edit-never mind i just realized thats a 12inch and its a l5, thought it was a 15inch

Regarding you friend's sub/amp choice. TALK HIM OUT OF IT! I worked on an 04 Accord a few weeks ago that had that exact sub/amp combo. Boy was it trash! The sound was inaccurate as all hell. It wasn't even remotely loud. And the fuse on the amp kept popping under load. Stay away from that cheap shit.

I can peice together a bunch of different combo's, but you need to set aside a definite budget and figure out the size limitations you have to mount an amp and or enclosure.

What kind of vehicle is this for?
