The sub will work with the amp no problem. Just be sure to bridge the amp.

As for what kind of box...What kind of music do you listen to most?

well i listen to alot of euro/dance/freestyle but also rap/hiphop so im not sure if that helps. Would this be considered an entry level sub/amp setup and would you ever reccoment these things to anyone or was this stuff a bad choice? sorry i dont mean to ask so many questions its just that the people on here seem to be experts so i value your opinions.

I'd think that a ported box might suit your tastes better should get louder and deeper. But you do need to have the box built to the right specs. The manufacture specs should be ok. A Sealed box typically would give you a tighter more accurate note. If you have the means to try both than just compare.

The infinity sub is a decent sub for the money. I think they go for abnout 60.00 USD. They are reliable and sound pretty good. If you were to spend twice that you could get a much better sub.

The amp, to be honest is not that good. However if it does put out it's rated power without any bad turn on/off noises and doesn't overheat on you than it's all good. I doubt you will hear the difference between it and another amp of the same amount of power.
