I had this problem w/ the audio from my video system i had installed in my eclipse, never found out what it was.

oh is it safe to run the speaker wires with the power cable then ??

i'll move my rca to one side and speaker wire to the other along with the power cable

It's most likely your grounding points. But definitely run the power wire on the left side and the RCA's on the right.

i forgot and drank on superbowl next weekend i'll work on it. i did however bought some 4 gauge wires to redo the grounds in the engine bay too. may be that'll help out a lil bit also we'll see

okay i fixed my headunit. Its the rca's ground in the headunit thats fuxored. Its extremely sensitive. I had to take the top plate off the headunit and solder a wire to the ground (out ring on the rca) on the inside of the headunit and ground it else where. Got rid of the whine sound. You could bandaid it like i did before but wrapping wire on the rca cable and ground it, but doesnt work that well.

ok i fixed it turned out to be a lose acc wire to wire connection that turns on the HU.. the weeee sound is still there but it's barely noticeable.. i'll try re-grounding the HU directly to the car instead of using the harness's ground wire, who knows where that goes
