Cam2XRunner.. help! Amp question.

So I'm lovein' havin' a system in my truck, but the amp I have pushin' the a;pine components isnt up to par. I went with a phoenix gold that claims to put out 125 watts @ 4 ohms x2 but neither Marv nor I think its pushin' nearly that much. My question is what amp would you recommend to push these.. something rasonably priced and it has to fit under my drivers seat.. kinda limiting as far as options go.

Any expierience with Pioneer? I found the GM-5100T and GM-5200T both for about $100 and they also claim to push the same as the phoenix gold.. but what would you advise.

I'm actually heading back up to Seaside to Mr. Marv's place. My brother's room mate saw what I had in my truck and wants Marv to do the install on hers now too.. so I'll be up there in 2 weeks and I'm hoping to have the new amp by then so Marv can tweak with it with that test CD that he loaned you.. if he gets it back in time.. haha. Thanks in advance.

It sure is. What about mounting another amp on the back of the amprack?

I can't think right now, I'll keep an eye out for something. Maybe an older Soundstream reference would be nice.

The MB Quart amp takes up the entire amp rack, its huge. so the only space i have available is under the drivers seat.. the crossovers are under the passenger side seat.
