well, its not that bad really, just a pain in the ass. Bought off ebay, and the seller was really cool about it, gave me a full refund, and is letting me keep the box and the 1 good sub.

I was pissed at first, helped the UPS guy get them off the truck and i heard the rattling and was like WTF? pulled the speaker out and found the magnet sitting on the floor of the box.
Immediatly snapped a picture and emailed it to the seller, He replied to me pretty quick, saying basically Oh well, guess you shouldnt ship mounted subs. Then he offered me $50, i declined, then he offered me $80, which was the cost minus shipping, I declined and told him that if i didnt get a full refund from him, id file a charge back....then he offered me a full refund.
He was cool about it in the end, said its not worth trying to file a UPS insurance claim, and he doesnt want to pay for me to ship it back to him, so he said i could keep it. Its a really nice well built box, and the other sub seems fine, got it hooked up now, probably gonna just buy another sub to go with it. Or sell everything, dont know yet.

Yes, how would that happen? I figured a sub should be built strong enough to hold it's magnet on during bumps. Very odd, people put subs in off road vehicles.
My subs were shipped installed and arrived fine. Not to make you feel bad, just saying.

apparelty it happens. The sub is an older one, and the seller told me he had this happen to him once, but it was with a sub that had a really big magnet, so he thought these would be fine. Oh well. I got my money back, and a free box+1 good sub, so that works for me.

Still seems shady to me. I took some magnets off some old 10" Lanzar subs I had. Took a flat screwdriver and a crowbar to remove them. A buddy of mine owned these before me. Seen their days of offroading, max excursion, and pounding from a pair of 12" subs in a common chamber box.
OK....obviously he didnt do it on purpose, CAUSE HE GAVE ME A FULL REFUND! as in cost of the auction+shipping back. Told me to just keep it and it would be a lesson to himself.
I tried putting the magnet back on, but when i did, it just locked up the cone.
