How's the range on your 791XV?

How far does it really go? DEI is supposed to be upgrading it this Spring 2006, it's supposed to go 1 mile then.

i get like 250 - 300 feet out of mine, if they are upgradeing it im gonna go get an exchange on mine as soon as that happens

1500 ft without a problem, I have had it much further than that at Modified madness, clean across the bryce jordan center I hauled ass back.....damn bass....

i cant seem to get it to go through buildings very well....you have the same prob?

im prob only 200 ft away in a walmart...or when im on campus

my brothers is like that. thats why i didnt get the viper i went with auto page reaches from on campus and in stores very easily

I don't have that problem with mine.....funny

^i can go through my home and stuff and some buildings, but some buildings no...esp multiple buildings like on campus

i tested it on my street and could only go as far as 1/8 mile down the sidewalk.

where is your control module and antenna located?

you can use unlock/lock/remote start/page from those distances?

does the remote tell you when its out of range? cause i always see the Receiving Transmission Icon blinking but ill see the "I" icon when i press a button and it doesnt have signal...
