Wow you guys amaze me. In "My Day" we were happy with an 8 track that didn't skip/double track (Either we used a matchbook or had a 8 track with a adjusting wheel). Speakers were nothing like today's. Little tin-sounding pieces of dung. And we were thankful to have it. hehe.

My Dad bought an Ford LTD(1974) with a Quadraphonic 8 track player. We thought we were the Sh!t. hehehe. It did sound pretty decent. But and 8 track is still an 8 track. *sigh*

I truly admire you people that can custom out a vehicle. I ordered a Corolla LE and it is coming with the JBL system. Special order of course. It will meet my needs. I save my real hard earned dollars for my HDTV and suround sound in my home.
