equalizer installation?

got a pioneer DEQ-7400 and need to know how to install one of these things?

run a rca cable from the decks pre-amp outputs to the eq. then just send it power(ground,positve, and remote turn on) after that just run more rca cables from the eq to your amp and your set. by the way how many bands is your eq?? got any pics???

you can cut into the stereo's postive wire, remote led and ground

k i installed the EQ and it powers on but no sure if i installed it right, can i only control the subs because i dont have an amp for the speakers?

you have to eq the signal before it is amped, and if you are running your highs off the internal amplification in the deck thats a no go.
