Gen5 manual transmission alarm

hey guys i just bought a viper 791 alarm/remotestart and now someone told me that it wont work on my car because i have a manual transmission. is this true? should i just sell it? or they misinformed me and i can actually install it

Taht's BS, you can use it. The car just has to be in gear so you just have to be careful and make sure your E-brake is on. I know someone that forgot and had to chase his car down the street. You should have seen it, it was at a car show too.

nobody really wants to do it cuz its a wrisk for them and for everybody but all u gotta do is bypass or remove the neutral safety switch. which means wen u press down on ur clutch and turn da key da car turns on but wen u take it out the car willl turn on without u holding the clutch pedal down

is there any way to still be safe and so something so that it does not start rolling. im scared that sometime in the fture, someone is gonna borrow my car (dad, Valet) and they will end up leaving the car in gear, which will result with it crashing into something if i use remote start. myself, i usually just leave the car in neutral and pulll the ebrake

with the 791 comes a switch that u can turn off the automatic start i have one cuz now that my cars automatic and everybody can drive it sometimes they might abuse the automatic start and i've burnt out brains by starting the car to much dont know how but i have, but yea theres an on and off switch it should be in the kit cuz thats wat mine came with jus mount it somewhere close but far from everybody who cant see it but u kno where its at
