Get dynamat or a butyl based sound deadener. www.raammat.com is good deadener and alot cheaper than dynamat. also, get a closed cell foam to layer on top of the sound deadner to create a sound barrier which blocks out outside sound and keeps the bass in the trunk.

super glue some house carpet to your trunk, it will do the trick AND add 5hp!

sorry i feel sarcastic today lol..

but in all honesty, get a form of sound dampener, ie: dynamat, second skin, or good ol' "peel n' seal". layer your trunk with it and most of the rattles will go away. and btw, i dont think thats a very good thing that you can hear your trunk rattle from a couple of blocks away lol your car will fall apart if thats the case
