How much do you have to spend and what do you need?
Do you need a head unit, amp, sub, speakers, or sound deadening?

If you want good bass, you will need a sub and amp at the minimum.

2 10" kicker comp in a sealed box sounds good, with about 400-500 watts

Go to http://www.ascendantaudio.com/ and order two Assasin 10s at $55 each. Rumor has it that the Assasin subs are going to be DVC so they are trying to unload all the SVC ones.

DVC = Dual Voice Coil
SVC = Single Voice Coil

It's a coil of wire on the speaker. When current passes through it, it generates a magnetic field that causes the cone to move.

SVC and DVC don't neccesarily have advantage over each other. It's just there to create more wiring options if you want to add more than 1 sub.

You need to put them in an enclosure (box) and put that in the trunk. Then you need an amp to power them.

You can get a custom built box or you can buy a prefab one. If you want a custom box, get in toouch with this guy: http://community-2.webtv.net/MarvsPlace/MarvsPlace/
