In dash security key dilemma
I've got a '94 pickup with an in dash security key that appears factory. Problem is that it does not always work any more and when it doesn't then I have to disconnect the battery for a few second and then i twill start fine. Can I disable this unit somehow. Many GM's can have the inkey type security overcome with soldering in a resistor in the circuit of a a known value and then a key without the "chip" will work. Does any one know of soluton similar to this or anything else that will work?
