Gen5 stock Camry CD changer - help!

i have a "Type 1" stock HU in my '06 Camry. its just a radio and CD player, no tape deck. there's an extra port in the back. apparently, the dealer says its 4 an OEM CD changer. instead of a CD changer, i wanna install the USA-SPEC aux input adapter to play my iPod thru the stock HU. the adapter is supposed to plug into that port.

my question is, from the deck, how do u access that signal from the port? whether its a CD changer or aux adapter? all there is is a "CD" button on the face. do i just press that button to get the accessory signal?

all i know is that the radio preset buttons #3 and #4 switches the CD's in the changer. just not sure how to access the changer/adapter once it's plugged in.

Yes, you just press that "CD" button until headunit selects the auxiliary adapter.
