I've had this amp for 3 years now, and never had an issue. In fact, I bought another for my other car since I had no problems!

Well, the original one has a problem that developed about 2 months ago. After about 6 or so minutes of hard bass; the amp cuts out. It will come back after about 1 minute every time.

I thought it may be overheating, but I took the back off and there was nearly no dust/crud, and the fan is working fine.

Any ideas?

It definitely sounds like it's overheating. Do you have the gains set propperly?

Between 1/2 and 3/4. Thing is, it was always fine like this before, I haven't changed anything.

the thing probably just worn out somehow!!!
