Alpine i-personalize help needed

Is any one familiar with the I-personalize at www.alpine.com?

Here is what I have
HDU: - alpine cda-9855
front speakers: infinity kappa 6.1perfects with tweeters and crossovers
rear speakers: infinity kappa 693.5i 6x9
amp: 4ch kicker 350 watts

The head unit has parametric and graphic equalizer and I have no idea how to set those up. I know people say just mess around with settings to find what you like, but i've tried that and wasn't really able to set the settings to my liking.

I basically want real loud crisp sound with some midbass as I listen to mostly hip hop/rap. Can any one register at https://i-personalize.alpine.com/nam/index.html and set the parametric equalizer and the crossover..they have an option where you can email the saved settings to me.

My system sounds OK right now...but I know it can sound better...so if anyone has a little time to mess around with the i-personalize and email me the settings to fatkushnugz@yahoo.com would be much appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Some info on the speakers:
Infinity kappa 693.5i
Design: 3way
freq responce - 35 - 22K Hz
RMS watts - 2 - 110
peak power handling - 330 watts

infinity 6.1 perfects
Design 2way
Sensitivity 90dB
freq responce 75 - 23K Hz
RMS 25-100watts
peak power handling 400 watts

Thanks all

It's all a matter of personal taste. Unless you're going for a completely flat response, then you'll need someone with the same exact setup and vehicle as you (which I doubt anyone has). You can maybe see if someone has a spectrum analyzer that you can borrow or rent if you want to start out with flat response and go from there. (that's what I did. My dad has a IVIE spectrum analyzer that he uses for work.)

I would just play the music you listen to, pick 3 or 4 different songs to listen to, and play with each setting until you get it set exactly how you like. Also best to do while driving, sometimes if you get it setup perfectly while in the garage with the engine off, it'll sound different when you're driving. It's a time consuming process, but you should get the best sound after you get everything adjusted.

I have an Alpine 9853 that I am playing around with now, I adjusted things to my liking, then went to the i-Personalize site, duplicated the settings, now have a "backup" just in case I happen to lose them somehow. I am going to try out a 9857 next, to see what if I like it better, so I can just put in my i-Personalize CD and it'll be all setup for my system.

My setup is completely different than yours, so posting my settings won't help you at all.

One other thing I just noticed is with the parametric EQ, on the i-Personalize website, when you adjust the "Q" of the EQ (width of the boost band), with it as narrow as it can be is the widest when you transfer it to the deck, so it's backwards. The "Q" number is correct, just what it displays when you play with it is wrong.

Everything else seems to work correctly. I like the opening message, I think i-Personalize is the only way to access that feature.
