I Am Planning On Buying Some Subs But I Am Torn Between A Pair Of Pioneer Premier 12" SPL Competition Component Subs (TS-W5000SPL) And A Pair Of MA Audio 15" Subs EHO154 But I Think I Have An Amp In Mind For Sure...A Couple MA Audio HK4000w Class D MONO Amplifiers...Has Anyone Heard, Heard About, Or Own These Subs And Tell Me If They Are Quality Subs That Can Hit Hard Without Any Distortion...As For The Amplifiers Does Anyone Own Or Seen The Quality Of The Pioneer Premier Amps And Can Give A Positive Rating For Them? Thank You...
well being that those pioneers are like the best they make, i would say they are probably good. As for MA.. i don't like them personally. Heard um and there amps and was not really very impressed... mainly because they list way more power then they do.
But to me both brands arent't really too spectacular.. although i would take pioneer over MA

Thank You Corollacrazy42, I Think For The Subs I'll Go With Pioneer Like You Suggested...But As For The Amplifiers Would This Amp Be A Better Choice?...
You do realize that you're spending 1500+ on just a sub and amp here, right? I think you can do a lot better for the money, not knocking pioneer or anything, but that seems a bit pricey for what you're trying to accomplish.

What Would You Suggest To Get 5,000-8,000 Watts Of Power For Less Than $1,500+? I Honestly Don't Think It Can Be Done For Anything Near $1,500 Or Less Than $1,500...
^ true....but it's not always about power....especially not about SPL.....out of the two, I'd pick up the pioneer premier....afterall, that's their top of the line. but unless he's getting a good deal on them, I wouldn't spend that money on them either
you've got much better brands ou there that he can pick up at least a couple of with that kind of money- and we're talking about the compeition series of all these brands
- jbl (if we're talking about spl)
- boston acoustics
- JL
- Mcintosh (not that you'd be able to pick up much for 1.5K tho)
and the list goes on...

Yeah, I Was Looking At A Set Of Three To Four JBL 15" Gti Series....But I'm Not Buying These For Only Power But Also Best Sound Clarity....Pounding Bass And Still Be Able To Hear The Words Without Distortion...So If Anyone Knows The Best Brand To Do So With 5,000-10,000 Watts That Are The Most Durable And Reliable Please Speak Up...Beside The Subs And Amps I Am Adding A Couple 6 1/2's and A Few Tweeters...
