I have a hard time believeing that amp could blow up those subs.. if any for that matter. Its not a very strong one. ^^^ like he said, its probably to weak if anything
No possible way that amp could blow those woofers if used correctly. Deffinately do not buy from Circuit City WASTE OF MONEY search on the internet (ebay) or find a local sound shop and work some deals out with a salesman. I would go with that set-up I am very impressed by kicker and have seen Kicker COMP VR's get very loud if put in a proper box and a little proper amp tunning.

Everything around me locally is too damn high and Circuit City is the only cheap place in town thats where I got my radio from and it cost me $500!!!
Order online. Seriously, you get better prices (even after shipping costs), less hassle, and the products usually arrive relatively quick, at least everything I've ordered anyway (except that damn p880prs which I still have no word on, but thats from an individual, not a store).

No offense dude, but put a little more effort into your work. Cam2xrunner put together a huge list of all kinds of audio products. Brush up on that, as well as the sites listed at the top of the A/V page (READ B4 POSTING, Ultimate Audio Sticky and also Bookmard these sites... (though there are many duplicates on each page)).
I know how you feel. I had the same questions when I first got into this hobby. Overall, it just takes the time and effort (and quite a bit of reading) to get a good feel for "what's good" and on top of that, much of it is just personal experience. Other sites I might reccommend would be epinions.com or other similar review sites, and google everything before you make a decision becuase you'll find forum entries, data sites, manufacturer sites, review sites, and all kinds of information of nearly anything you could possibly want to find. Knowledge will be your key to audio success. Don't just go with something becuase "thats all thats by [you]" or whatever. You have to work at it for it to be valued by you. That can be said for nearly everything.
