Sound system..06 corolla

ok i want to get a more powerful sound system in my 06 corolla..but im not sure what brands i should get..

i am pretty sure that there are speakers and such that can hook right up into the toyota wiring..can anyone tell me which ones that might be?

is there a site where i can buy a package or somethin?

i have so many questions about this lol..

ohh and i went to a garage where they do all types of things to customize your car and they told me 1500 for 6 speakers (250 watts), a 1200 watt AMP, and sub woofer..the guy has to call me back and tell me what brands and stuff..i think that 1500 is a little steep..he also told me that i could half it and for 550 i could get a great AMP and a subwoofer..i think hes tryin to rip me off..

any way can some one please help me out..!! thanxx!

What is it exactly do you want?
Do you want a subwoofer?
Do you want an external amp, or do you want the system driven by the amp on an aftermarket head unit?
Do you want to keep the stock head unit, but add an amp?

Most importantly, how much do you have to spend?

No speakers will hook up to the Toyota wiring. YOu can either cut the Toyota wiring, or use an adapter. All speakers that I've come across have two terminals of some sort for input and you either stick a bare wire in there and screw or clamp it down or you use a quick disconnect terminal on the end of hte wire.

Sounds like an ok deal. But personally, I would get two of the Image Dynamics subs that are going on eBay right now:
10" Dual 4 Ohm
10" Dual 2 Ohm
12 Dual 4 Ohm
12 Dual 2 Ohm

And then use something like this to drive them:
MB Quart RAA2400
