How are Phoenix Gold Subs?

I was looking at this

I like that it handles more power and that it's designed for a pretty small box.

Any opinions?

Ya PG woofers are good for Good SQ they dont work all that good in ported, but they do sound good in a small sealed air tight box. The woofer overal is nice with the rubber surround and aluminum cone. If you looking for a little thump & sound quality you will enjoy these woofers.

I would say not really.. sensitivity is low.. and besides.. i have a hard time believeing that this sub can handle a continuous 500?.. but i suppose any sub could be good, you cant hear them all to know
