Gen5 buzzing sound

hey guys just installed my mmc6500 and have a proble. everyhting sounds really nice but i can hear the buzzing sound when i hit the gas. its not bad but just something that am looking to fix. another thing is when i turn the stereo off, i still hear a sound coming from the speakers. its like a humming sound. anyone kno what it is?

buy a ground loop isolator at radioshack or wherever. that should solve the problem. connect it from the radio to the amp on the RCAs

hes right.....you are picking up ground noise which allows sound to still transfer through the speakers. if you are amping, always scrape the paint away to sheet metal

hey guys i have bought a ground loop isolator to solve the buzzing sound from my acceleration but the problem is still there. what do you guys recoment doing now?

if the power cord and the rca cord running from the deck to the amp are running parallel or right next to each other, separate them.

next time don't waste the money on the ground loop isolator and scrape the paint before you put your grounds in!!!
