much better in my opinion, but i dont like any 15's not unless you just run one I guess. I dont like their responce. but I do believe this is a much better sub.
i like the how deep 15's hit that's y i want 15's. maybe just one w/ a ported box or maybe two in a sealed. im just getting opinions and ratings i guess so when i do get new subs. i want something that looks nice in the trunk and sounds nice and loud. do u guys think putting one 15 in a custom in the spare tire well is a good idea?

The Arc 15 will work great in a spare tire well, only needs 1.5 cu ft give or depending on your car/taste.
i just finished sitting my 15 in the spare tire well fits perfect (w/ the box duh lol), but i noticed the hole is off to the left a little but w/e that shouldnt affect anything.

why would you port a box with lower power? i really hate that sound...maybe it's just me..
Ported subs dont need as much power to do what they do effectively. Sealed they need more power so they they can move the air surrounding the cone. Alot less stress on the sub when its in a somewhat open air setting.
just saw the sound splinter...looks nice. i dont understand the whole cubic ft. of a sub box. someone explain ...? plz oh & just saw the arc audio 15...i'd rather the ss. other than that wat are some good 15" subs? i was looking at the memphis mojo but i dunno.

yea good point corollacrazy. i used to have a 12" solo running on a crappy 700 watt amp in a sealed box, bought the kicker ported 12" enclosure off a friend and throw that sucker in there...wat a difference!
