Hifonics XX-Hercules

can the xx hercules push a 15" L7 w/o blowing it? i know i'd have to keep the gain really low but either way...the sub holds 2000max the amp pushes 2000max but it's never gonna reach 2000 so would it blow it?

well you would never wanna get your sub up to max either, although you are right that that amp could not over power its max. It has the possibility of blowing at anytime really though. Not all subs are built exactly to the point. There may be a little flaw that makes yours blow sooner with less watts. Kinda the same concept as a car. Your friends rolla might rock, but yours my be the flook and suck ass. All depends. So I guess what im trying to say is, yes and no. Given the circumstances.

Should be ok, but I can rec better amps and subs. L7's can be loud, but there's other subs out there that can get just as loud and sound better.
