Opinion: MB Quart RAA2400 v. Arc Audio KAR 900.1D?
Just as the title says, I'm looking for what you guys think about these two in comparison to each other: MB Quart RAA2400 Versus Arc Audio KAR 900.1D.
Which ever one will be powering an Arc Audio Flatline (probably D2). I can get each for around $200 (MB Quart online and the Arc locally). I hear the Arc's are underrated, so the Flatline would be getting just what it needs to perform optimally. However, I've heard great things about the MB Quart amps, though not enough to discern between the two.
I dunno, they didn't have it listed. Perhaps I'll stop in another time and find out.
But would it be safe to say that the KARs would be a better choice over the MBqs?
Oh, and while I'm at it, you think ~1000 watts on the sub and about ~150 to my comps would be a big strain on the electrical? I haven't done the big three yet, but I'm just curious if the stock alt. is gonna hold up either way (pre or post big three).

Well, i had some time so I stopped by that place again and asked about the 1000.2T. He said they wanted ~$500 for it (which is what i expected) but then I thought that the 900.1D didn't match up price wise so I asked about that, and they wanted almost the same amount. i guess it was just mislabeled or something. However, I'm not ruling Arc out for an amp choice.
With that, the guy told me the Arcs were def. underrated, so I don't see why the 900.1 wouldn't be enough. Considering I'd be making a huge jump in power already, I don't need to get greedy and go to the 1000.2 (unless it were reasonably priced). I think I saw a 900.1 somewhere (meaning ebay) for about 315. Still though, that makes more than a hundred dollar difference.
Keeping that in mind, what kind of numbers does the MBQ put up? Has anyone done a bench test on the RAA2400 (or the Arcs for that matter)? I'd like to see some real world numbers before I committ, and since I can't find too much locally, and I guess I suck at searching, I need some help here. After reading the reviews and stuff, I think the Quart is gonna be tough to beat.
From what I hear, I imagine I'll be keeping the Flatline for a long long time, so I can play with finding the right amp for it later. I suppose if I can't find a better deal ("Best bang for the buck" and all that jazz) I may just end up with the Quart and be done with it for the time being. Also, from what I'm hearing, I may like the wiring possibilities on the Quart more than other amps I've seen.
