One sub hits harder then other

I have two sony 12 inch subs. I have a sony 1200 watt amp and am running 4 gauge for power and 4 gauge for ground. I have a problem, the left sub looks to be hitting harder then the right. I have everything hooked up correctly i think anyways. I have going from the amp the + to the + on the sub box and - going to - on the sub box. I cant figure out why that left sub hits harder then the other one

How are they wired inside the box? Sounds like one might be wired backwards.

Need more info.

Are they single voice coil (SVC) or dual voice coil (DVC)?

Whats the ohm rating on the subs?

It could be something as simple as the balance on the HU.

If they're wired in stereo. That's when the wiring inside the box comes into the equation.
