amp fan?

has anyone ever put a fan on an amplifier that wasn't there already.. i want to know how i would go about doing this.. anyone have any ideas?

I have one in mine.. i have to strapped to the top of my truck with zip ties sop that it points straight down at my sub amp.. works awesome, never had problems with overheating after that..

an actual one.. but a computer fan would work just great as well.. and be alot less expensive

well to tell you the truth you cant. I tried to hook mine up to the remote turn on and it causes an interference. You have to put it on something that turns on when you turn on the car (example: i used the cig liter)

there's a place online that sells amp fans for an amp rack. u can make an amp rack and seal it w/ plexi glass and throw a fan on the plexi glass blowing out. seen it a couple of times.

Yes make sure NOT to run it off the remote wire. That circuit CANNOT handle the current draw!!
