Bunch odf smartasses on this forum

When I ask a simple question, I get a smartass trying to be all bigshit. All I wanted to know was a decent priced amp that has ;lot of power to drive a couple of 8 inch subs 300 watts. A sont 1000 watt amp or a expensive 200 watt amp like Rockford fosgate?

yea no shit dude.. apparently you know nothing of audio so until you make an intelligent question we will give you an unintelligent answer. No one is being an asshole to you, you havent provided any info that is worth a shit. We need to know what subs and what ohm configuration before we can even begin to list something.

Reality check for you, i do believe...

We would be glad to answer your questions if you answer ours. But for now all you deserve is

Hahaha, someone tries to help you out by investigating a little more into what you are trying to accomplish and you start a new thread to bitch about it... unbelievable.

Do some research, use the SEARCH function. I don't think anyone's gonna help you now.

Get a sweet Sony or Pyle or Pyramid or Urban Audioworks or Jensen or Road Gear. Make sure to get the most expensive one you can, like 4000w. Should be about $50. Then crank it up loud and proud!

I knew a lot about car audio (trial & error) before I came to TN.

I have learned A LOT MORE now that I am here. Cam is a genius.

IM sorry. It looked a lot worse in print than what i intended it to.Guess i will pass on this forum, because I dont really see why someone cant tell me a simple thing like a nice powerfull amp that will drive a avaerage pair of 300 watt 8"subs. My Linear Power 2202IQ wont drive them loud enuf, even though its a quality amp. I know a lot of the "high powered " amps for not much money are BS. I guess if i can find a 300 watt amp for 500.00 or something, thats about all I can guess. I dont expect any help now. I cant even believe myself I made a seperate post about it too; much beer.

Well, just so you'll shut up about it, I'll assume that you're talking 300 watts (rms) at 4 ohms (DVC) x2 - typical setup. First of all, if you don't have a ported box, get one and try that for something a little louder.

The Profile AP/California Series are supposed to be good on a budget. Wire the subs to two ohms each (four ohm final load) for a little head room and keep the gains a little lower.

Or bridge this Kicker and wire your subs to 4 ohms final load to give each of them 300 watts.

Enjoy.
