Hi, I've been a lurker for a while, but I don't post much around here. I hope this is the right board.
I'm considering buying the SonyEricsson HCB-700 for installation on a 2005 Sienna. First of all, it would be great if anyone had any experience with this particular kit in late model Toyotas? Any takers?
OK, if not, I have some more-generic questions. The kit has an optional "music mute," which is a misnomer. It's an extra wire that routes the handsfree kit's sound through the car stereo speakers instead of the included speaker to be mounted below the dash. I like that feature, but the SE standard "music mute" (HCE-16) requires ISO plugs at the stereo back to work. Otherwise you have to jerry-rig an adaptor, at which point you've spent $50 for the HCE-16 for nothing.
So, does anyone know whether a 2005 Sienna CE has ISO stereo connectors? Thanks, and I hope that's not too-stupid a first question.
