FM modulator question

my gf has an 03 corolla LE and she wants a way to hook her MP3 player up so she can play it in the car. stock audio system and we bought a belkin FM modulator. tried it out in my car and it worked very well, quite good quality. when she tried it in her car, she could not find a station that would work well with the FM modulator. it seems she has TOO good of reception which leads to almost all channels getting some type of signal. so my question is, what can i do for her? does anyone use a specific FM modulator that works well in a newer car? i have a decent pioneer HU that i would install for her but her car is still on lease and she isnt sure if she is gonna keep it or not.

You can put the stereo in and then take it out when you return the car.

I think there are some FM modulators that let you set your own frequency instead of using a number of preset frequencies. If that doesn't help, you can try to wire up an AUX in or something to the back of the stock deck. There was a post or two on this board that demonstrated how to do it.

i bought one of those wireless transmitters for my deck too because i dont have an aux in, there horrible, no reception and poor sound quality

then i found this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-A65FqKU...1&I=142FMMOD01

its easy to install, way cheaper then those wireless guys, never static and awsome sound quality.

good luck!
