01' Camry Stereo System

I have installed a 6 1/2 JL component system in the doors, and JL 6x9's in the rear. Now I'm wanting to put in JL's 12w6v2 H.O. system in my trunk. I was wondering if it was going to make a big difference in sound clartiy and trunk vibration if I face the subs towards the rear or towards the front of the car. Also I'm looking for a good recommendation on a motorized cd player around $250-$350.
thanks

Here's a great article on speaker aiming.

In that price range there are a TON of cd player choices out there depending on what features are important to you.

Aiming it towards the back will cause a loading effect and thus making it louder. If you aim it to the cabin it will be quieter and a little cleaner. However in a camry, (if they are the same as the ones in Aust - no ski holes) I would always aim it at the back. Why? because with camry's there is no open that goes from the cabin to the boot. The only way the bass gets through is through the backseats. It will absorb some of the sound and make you lose volume.

I have tried both ways in the car and firing it towards the back sounds better. The back of my box sit against the back seats.
