Best 4" and 3.5" to get?

I will have a 10" sub of some nature as well in my 89 (as someone stole my Kenwood ), so bass isn't a necessity.

I'm big into everything. Metal, rap, techno... everything but country. Just can't listen to that stuff :p

Anyways, I don't want to bother with components or anything (unless you can get 4" ones; I just don't want door speakers or kick pods), but I need good midbass and highs.

What are the best 3" (rear) and 4" (front) speakers I can get? I have some $40 Pioneers in the front and whatever the last owner put in the rears now... and they suck!

Several companies make 4" components however you will not get much midbass out of any of them due to the limited cone area. Also, "best" is a very subjective word so what I consider best and what you consider best could be 2 entirely different things! IMO, the best 4" speaker I personally have tried is a Scan Speak Revelator at about $200.00 each!
