This is a real heft project to go through, unless your just planning on unhooking the latch from the outside handle so that it just opens freely rather than doing all the body work required to shave and fill in the holes. From my experience with my gen 3 camry, getting to the then metal strip that is the door unlock is a pain in the A$$. The easiest way would be to remove the glass, and disasemble the inner subframe from the door, this will give you access to the whole setup so you don't need to have tiny hands and wiggle them around and possibly hurt yourself. I'm not sure how much "force" your factory latch will have. Some of the heavier doors will require a second solinoid to push open the door so it doesn't just relock. Normaly you would be pulling on the door to open it, so you just ahve to see. You mount the lock solinoid in such a way as that it triggers the door lock when it pops. You probably can get away with a lighter poundage one and don't need the heavy duty one. These are usualy custom jobs that require a lot of work and lots of $$$. The kits are cheap because most of the price is in the labor.
