WARNING!!
NOOB to Toyotas!!

Just got a camry sedan passed on down thru the family.

Was wondering if anyone knew of a stock OEM cd player
from another model(toyota?) or cross reference(lexus?)
that will DIRECTLY bolt into my 94?

the stock one(tape player) burned out.....

just trying to get this baby running and back on the road again.....

thanks for all your suggestions and assistance!!

Was it really neccessary to post four times?

Pretty much any Toyota stereo not requiring an external amp will fit in your car. (This is assuming your stereo doesn't have an external amp) Some of the really new ones, such as those from 2002 Camry and newer may not fit because they are too wide.

Scion stereos will fit too and add MP3 capability, but no tape player.

For future reference please use the search tool. This question has been asked numerous times in the past.

I've seen a few cd players out of the new FJ Cruiser on ebay, and they're supposed to work in a scion, so thinking like that, they'd prolly work in one of our camry's as well (gen3) the pic of the back looks like the same plug as the scions, btw.

I was thinking about trying to find a head unit/cd changer out of a lexus, some were made by nakamichi. But, I also want mp3 capability, so I'm either going aftermarket or with a scion/fj cruiser cd player. I just wish i could find out the specs on one...
