Direct Connect Question

In the back of my HU I have RCAs for "Front" and "Back." I have my amps plugged into the "Front" RCAs so I tried hooking up an RCA to Dock cable to the "back" RCAs. Nothing happened. I also saw a port for some pin connection like the pioneer one that's been talked about a lot on here. This is a Kenwood and the Pioneer cable looks different than what's on my HU. So, I'm wondering do I have to do Direct connect through the Pins or can I go through the RCAs?

I don't understand what you are trying to do. What are you hooking the rear RCA cables to?

What do you mean by direct connect?

Those are RCA outputs, not inputs.

You need a input, either a auxilary input or through the cd changer port (if your headunit has one).

If going through the cd changer port, you need a special cable or some type of converter.

Ok, that's what I figured. I bought the cable yesterday, so that's exactly what I wanted to hear. Thanks.
